Thomas Mathews If he died in battle he may be at Arlington. The one at North Fairfield would be a centograph. I transfered to him to you and you may add that it is a centograph or delete it, it is up to you. Cheryl
My name is John West (member #47795833), and I have at least three relatives who lived in Afton from 1883 until the 1930s-40s. They were all buried in Memorial Lutheran Cemetery according to the listing on this page: http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~washingtoncountymn/MemorialLutheran/memoriallutheran.htm.
My great-great grandfather, his wife, and at least one son are buried there. Their names are John H. Anderson (1853 - 9 Dec 1935), Nellie Anderson (1849 - 17 Mar 1940), and their son Hjalmar (1891 - ??). I am inquiring to find out if you might be able to get a few photos for me? According to the rootsweb listing, there are a total of 13 Andersons buried there; I am unsure if any of the others are related or not, as Nellie Anderson had four children which died very early or were stillborn...
Can you please let me know if this is possible, and also whether there are any problems with the info provided?
