RE: I'm Confused
Hi Sharon, Yes, my mother's middle name is Methuselah! I meant that her records, based on family sources, give Joseph McCain, #93257547, a birthdate of Jan 16, 1813. Can you make that edit? Thanks!

Sharon:

I don't know how you did it, but thanks so much for the photos of the tombstones of Malinda & Andrew Kohler. This has been on our ancestry wishlist for a long time now, and several people have valiently tried unsucessfully to get the photos. I sincerely appreciate your special efforts in our behalf. All the best!

RE: Cordie Jauch
You are very welcome. I actually fulfilled 19 requests that day in the same cemetery. Long day. Although a bit of a drive, I saw so many going un-answered, I thought it would be worth the trip. The folks in the office were amazingly cooperative with me in looking up the locations. The grounds keepers were very nice too. They had to dig out the mud on one and help search for quite some time on another. Well have a good day.

Sharon, Thank you so much for the photo. I was at Woodlawn last summer on a 90+ day and couldn't find Ida's marker. I had to throw in the towel or purchase a lot for myself by mid afternoon! Thanks again, Dave Jindrich

Tommy Lowrie at Elmwood Cemetery
Sharon ...

Thanks for linking my cousin Tommy to his parents. Tommy was one who never married and didn't seem to accomplish much in life, but at least you have given him a memorial, that should be there forever.

Ralph ...

Herbert Lowrie
Mr. Lowrie's grave is too new to be listed in the Oakland book so I will try to spot it by driving around; since it is a new gravesite, maybe it won't be too hard to find...wish me luck!
