RE: Just dropping by to say hi :)
You and me both! We'll have to plan some picture taking together :) I just made a memorial for Sam ... It isn't finished yet, but at least it is a start.

Hi Kimber,
I was reviewing some of my messages on Find A Grave and just thought I'd say "hi" and hope, that in your neighborhood, winter is all past by now.
Did you ever get a chance to do the rubbings?
Take care and enjoy Summer.

Yes we are distant cousins! I will check out your pictures on myspace. Inaze was my great grand fathers sister.

RE: Brittune Yard - Livermore, ME
I was just checking my photos of my stones and I was there in 1997. It was a small cemetery but with many grave stones. It was not just a family plot.I wish I had written down directions in my book. But I have an old map book with maps from 1873 and this is probably how I found it. In Livermore Village there is a pond called Brettuns Pond. There is a fairly large cemetery next to it.If the streets still have the same names, it is off Main St between Park St & Canton St.My map book shows 10 cemeteries in Livermore. I do have written that they were buried in Brettune yard Cemetery, Livermore, Me from the record book of I T Monroe of Livermore, Me 1899. I hope this will help. If you find it would you please let me know so I can document it. Phyllis

Thank you so very much for taking AND posting the photo and inscription of his tombstone. I would never be able to return to Maine and do this myself. You are an Angel with a camera.
