Bio and Links
Bio Photo Please don't hesitate to call me at the Richfield Historical Society (Ohio) for family information! I love genealogy and am researching my own heritage. I have found 41 sets of grandparents - so you see what I mean. The names I am researching are Elliott, Dixon, Hanslik, Brand just to name a few of my family names.

I love photographing resting places for your family or research so keep those requests coming!

RE: Dixon Cemetery
The cemetery is abandoned and in a cow pasture that is owned by a meat packing company. The Campbell county historical society had a clean up day a few years back trying to figure out who is there but it is basically uncared for which is very sad. I have several relatives there and there are many unmarked graves. The caretakers apparently passed and no one took over.

Cleveland Calvary Requests
Per the message on the Calvary page: please call the office at (216) 641-7575 to obtain plot information before posting a request.

As they are restrictive and the cemetery is massive we can't obtain information for you and cannot fill a request without it.

We are almost caught up with requests with plot info, having cleared over 400 in the last 3 months. We'd be happy to clear yours but need plot info first.

Thank you!

Thank you so much for taking the time to photograph the stone for Elijah. I was saddened to see that his stone is in such a bad shape. Thank you for preserving what is left of it.

RE: Nettie Dixon, Charles Elliott
Hi Kelly....oh the dreaded Oak Hill Cemetery in Millersburg. One day my husband and I decided to pick a cemetery, we chose Oak Hil,l at the time there was 86 request. We found 64 of them in two days of walking the cemetery. It is huge! I saved the photos for some time with the ones around them. When I got no one wanting any more information I deleted them from my computer. I am so sorry but we have no idea where we found it.

Thanks
Thank you for the information Kelly. I photographed most of West Richfield but I do not have family there. I just thought is was so lovely and I was sure there were many family members who would like to know where their loved ones rested.
I have worked on my family history for a few decades and know the joy of a found family member.
I will try to send questioners, your way.

Thank you for the help.
