Bio and Links
Bio Photo My husband and I live just outside of Panama City, Fl. and have been married 17 years, we love to fish, love our children and our dogs, and are both medically retired, so I spend a lot of time looking up my ancestry. I realize I don't have cemetery's for all my ancesters, that I have listed, but if you see any that you are kin to, and know their burial places, please let me know and I will change that, also if you see someone I have listed that is married to one of my ancesters, that is related to you please let me know and I will transfer ownership of their memorial to you. We can still keep the link to my ancestor.

Antioch Freewill Baptist
Hi Cheryl,
I just photographed Antioch Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery (aka Antioch Cemetery) in Geneva County which is separate from the Antioch Baptist Cemetery also in Geneva County. I found the people you show in Antioch Baptist are actually buried in Antioch Freewill Baptist (aka Antioch Cemetery).

Cemetery notes and/or description:
From Graceville, FL go west on highway 2 for 1.2 miles to caution light and turn north on Hwy (County Road) 171 and go across the Alabama and Florida line and the Church is on the right side of the road. It is about 3.3 miles from the caution light.

If you will change the cemetery for these people to Antioch it will make it accurate and avoid confusion in the future.

Thanks,
Ron

RE: Billy Bryant Rhodes
Tommy's father is Coy. Coy was the brother of Bill (Billy Bryants father and my Uncle Curtis' father) It is funny that your family married into the Rhodes twice, Mine did 3 times. My fathers sister Rachel married Curtis Rhodes, son of Bill. Then my sister Patricia (Rachel's niece) married Rayford Rhodes, son of Louis Curly Rhodes. (So Aunt and niece married 1st cousins) Then my other sister, Tabby, her step grand daughter Ashley married Curtis and Rachel's son Christopher Rhodes. Are you confused yet?
Then I was reading about all of Tommys' wives. That is the same story as Rayford Rhodes. He married Doris and had 2 daughters. Then they split up and he married my sister Patricia without ever divorcing Doris. He said that because he married Doris in Georgia and married Patricia in Alabama that it wasnt illegal. He has a son, Buck with my sister. Then he slit up with Patricia and married Tammy. He divorced Doris after marrying Tammy. He never did divorce my sister because he said that he was never legally married to her to start with because he was married to Doris. So to this day he is married to Patricia and Tammy. But he is in prison in Alabama and has been for the last 14 years off and on. He never stays out more than a year.

Billy Bryant Rhodes
Hi Earlene. I noted some changes on Billy Rhodes. Thank you so much for putting his grave on here. My Uncle (married to my dads sister) is Curtis Rhodes and Billy was his brother. Billy is the son of William Briant Rhodes and Margaret Louise Spell Rhodes. He died in Washington County Florida. I am working on the Rhodes family tree for my uncle.

Thank you for your contributions to this site. I use it pretty much daily.

Erlene,

That must be a wrinkle they added after I had to stop roaming around cemeteries because of leg problems. Thanks for explaining how linkages are done.

Earlene:

I made the changes you suggested; thanks for the additional information.

I didn't include reference to your Aunt because I see that Ray's memorial is already linked to his wife. I didn't do that, you must have! How did you do that, if I may ask? It's very neat. I have some linkages on my memorial pages but not many.

Anyway,thanks again.
