Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am a descendant of John Creed Boyer and Sarah Sipes and the Condray's of Missouri. The family also has many connections to the Carnahan's..all of Carter County. My father's maternal line is Condray and we know that line goes back to the Revolutionary War and beyond. Now a resident of Williamsburg, VA, I am truly interested in my family history as well as the history of our great country. My Mother's family comes through the Wilson, Waltonm Vickers, and Farrell lines in Illinois and Missouri.

RE: Cedar Grove
Goodmorning KJ, Bucktrout funeral home provided the service for my Great Grandmother. I called them and they also said the obituary and funeral notes say she was buried in Cedar Grove Cemetery. I hope you are able to find them, it made me very sad that they have no record of her. Thanks again so much, Adrienne

Hello KJ, I have contacted the Cedar Grove Cemetery which appears on my Great Grandmother's death certificate, but they say they have no record of her burial. I even spoke to the funeral home who also says she was buried there. So, I don't know where to go from here and I didn't want to waste your time looking thru the cemetery if they have no record of her. Thank you, Adrienne Flanders

RE: John Creed
All i have is what everyone else has. That he brought his family here to Carter County, MO. and went back to Tenn. To settle things and that he never returned to MO. Sarah went back to Tenn to find him to be told he already left. I can find where he married a Eliza Anne Tate on Feb., 28, 1844 and they had four children, John L., Thursa M., Benjamin F., and Joseph H. A friend took me to Brushy Creek where the family lived ( also where my Grandmother was born and raised) the graveyard is gone, someone changed the course of the creek and it destroyed the graveyard. So if i can be of any help to ya, please let me know.. I can go back pretty far with the Boyers just not much on John.. Thanks . Mary

RE: Duane Simon
Thanks. I took the reply off since I got an auto reply back for a bounced email.
