Currently I am working with the Dunklin County Genealogy Society to transcribe the cemeteries in Dunklin Co.

Anyone who wants ownship of the photo entry can contact me and I will be glad to transfer the ownship to them.

When you request a photo of a grave, please give as much info as you can. Sometimes when a cemetery is large it is time consuming and almost impossible to locate. Please keep in mind that many of these markers are old and time worn. They are hard to read. I am trying to find as much info as possible by searching thru the cemetery records of the Dunklin Co. Genealogy Society, the on-line death records held by the Secretary of State, and maybe obits. If you see a mistake, please let me know.

We have finished photographing all the markers in Marsh-Hazel cemetery except large one which is face down on ground. Hope to get someone to help either upright it or turn over to see info without doing any damage.

Sacred Heart Cemetery has been photographed as well.

Please keep in mind that many of these markers are old and time worn or damaged. Many times we have had to research and make best guess decisions about the info. If you have additional info that would help clarify, please let us know.

We have finish with Oak Ridge Cemetery on recording name's and picture of markers.
We started in 2009 and finish July 2011, so there may be markers not recorded. We divided cemetery into seven sections. The roads divide the sections with sect. 1 on north side & sect 7 on the south side.

If memorial has been entered by someone other than me and you want to know location, have someone to look at names on either side of marker then go to Findagrave and look at plot location.

Wanda Gail Roach
Mr. Swain,

There are two memorial pages for Wanda Gail (Roach) Pullam, yours under Wanda Gail Roach, and one created by Wanda ??, under Wanda Gail (Roach) Pullam.

Would you be able to post her monument photograph you took to her other page?

Wanda was first married to a Charles Carson and second to James H. [Henry] Pullam, James being buried in Woodlawn Cemetery, Pemiscot Co., MO.

She is the daughter of Myrtle Mae Viola (Clark) Roach and Charley Earl Roach both buried in Oak Ridge Cemetery, Dunklin Co., MO.

Thank you for any assistance you may be able to provide.

W Henry Reeves
Thank you so much for the picture of Henry and Lula Belle's tombstone. (Henry was my great-grandfather.) I am also looking for any record of Henry's first wife, Delsa Dick Reeves, born about 1867 in Kentucky and died between 1895-1900 in Dunklin County, MO. Also trying to find out Lula Belle's maiden name and when she and Henry married (about 1900).

Holland Hubert Edmundson
Thank you for posting the picture of Holland Hubert Edmundson's gravestone. I was trying to figure out who Ethel and Betty Gale were. Ethel is in the census but not family obits. Betty is in obits but not the census. Seeing this picture solved the mystery - Ethel was called Betty. Her grandfather and my grandfather were brothers. Sally A
