Known Stude obits after 1940: Henry 1941,Conrad Stude: DemocratTribune, July 4, 1946. You need only to write to the Mineral Point Archives c/o their Public Library to request it. Good Luck and please photo it to his Memorial when you receive it please. Thank you. Hope this helps.

Thank you for the memorial #, mystery now solved. It was DKMac (#47441312)who added the photo (under the photo). Nice Photo and good looking family. My Mary Jane Colllins had a cousin who md a man with a different name but was said to be from Prussia as well. This cousin came to Mineral Point to visit in the 1880's but now with her husband who was the one from Prussia. His name and her md. name was: SHARSIG

p.254: 26 Apr 1873 OF BRIDGET AND MARY BURNS,their parents' names are James Burns and Ann Magee; also, of Mary Dermod, her mother's name is Catherine Magee, native of the town of Sharcog, County Cavan; when last heard from, 22 years ago, Bridget and Mary Burns were living with their parents in Sharcog, Mary Dermod in Dundee, Scotland, with her mother; supposed to be now in the United States. If this should meet their eye, or any of their relations or acquaintances, they will confer a favor on their cousin, Catherine Gilmore, by writing to John McArdle, Mineral Point, Wis.

I noticed in the same graveyard that there is also a stone for a Thomas Blackley (died 27th Aug 1936) aged 63 and, on the same stone, his father Samuel Blackley (died 30th April 1937), aged 84.

I photographed that stone too. If it is of any use to you, please let me know.

I looked for these today but I need more information. Can you email mcbwa(metropolition cemeteries board) for more information. They list them at frontage garden general position 56. I couldn't locate this area. They may sent you a map with the position and I can look next time I am there.
