Feel free to use any of my photos in any way that you wish, especially the older ones. My only purpose in posting them is to share them with those who want them and to help preserve them for posterity, just as many of these were gifts which others (long dead, for the most) once shared so generously with me. History is not for hoarding or profit but for preserving and passing on.|
All of my memorials are works in progress, so I'm continually tinkering with them, researching, editing or expanding them. Additions, comments, corrections, criticisms and suggestions are always welcome and considered.

|Jack Clifford ||Inquiry|
I noticed you posted on Evelyn Nesbit's site.
I am no relation to Jack Clifford who was Virgil Montani. Evelyn married him in 1916 and he abandoned her in 1918. Would you by chance know where Virgil went after he left Evelyn?
Jack Clifford (no kin to virgil)
Hi Ray -- I'd like to fulfill your request for a photo for Salvador D'Antoni (1911-1958), but there are multiple D'Antoni locations in St. Vincent de Paul #3, and he doesn't show up on any of them. Have a look at the records for Vincent D'Antoni Sr (1900-1977, GRID 145199206) and for Joseph D'Antoni (d. 1932, GRID 147684868). If either of those is "Sal" feel free to use the photo for his record, or let me know which it is and I'll upload it.

|Faye Wakefield||Perry Family Cemetery|
Do you know the location of the original Perry Family Cemetery in Lancaster Cty, SC. or if it
I know the stones have been moved to Liberty Hill Pres. Church, but I would like to visit the
original site if possible.
Your help would be greatly appreciated.

Needless to say, I will be reading your Veitch information a little each day. It is very informative. Thanks for the link that I will check soon.
I have family buried at Fort Lincoln and I own books from the PG County Genealogical and Historical Society. You will see that there are many dates missing for the Veitch/Boyle memorials.
My childhood home was close to the Cemetery but we moved from that area and now reside close to the Calvert County line. Many of my memorials are from Southern Maryland. We have passed the Veitch's Cove Historical marker many times in our travels.
Please check the remainder of the Veitch family memorials at Ft. Lincoln and see what else you might have to add that will enhance them.
Thank you for your contribution.
Your help is appreciated,

Mix-up in John Weir(NC) and John Weir SC)
Each had sons Thomas.
Will of John Weir Lincoln Co NC 1818
Son Thomas Weir died 24 Mar 1868 Cleveland Co., NC. He has will also.
Will of John Weir Fairfield Co., SC 1817 Names sons, including Thomas
30 page probate in Talladego Co AL (1848-1853)of wife Mary ( ) Martin reveals the whole family, names all children and spouses and their locations. Have not found her maiden name but Mary had been married to a Martin before her marriage to John Weir and had 2 children.
I would like to connect to the John of NC, the- Rev War hero of King's Mt. but my John of SC was a Rev Soldier from SC whose widow and their children came to MS via AL.
Will be glad to communicate with interested researchers. firstname.lastname@example.org
|Rich Dohm||"Uncle Ben" Reynolds ~|
Hello Ray. I have kin at the Mount Ida cemetery, and noticed THIS memorial of yours. You should ask email@example.com to accept him as famous... after all, who alive has never heard of Uncle Ben? If I was you, I'd add Uncle Ben in the nickname field too.

|mike reeves||Mt. Ida Reynolds & Oden Family Cemeteries|
The Heritage Hall Museum here in Talladega had a good digital photo of an oil painting of Maj. Walker Reynolds which I have posted to the memorial you created for him at Mt. Ida Family Cemetery. You had recently mentioned Cpt. Henry P. Oden, 15th Alabama, having been buried in Vicksburg. I saw the excellent photograph of the Oden-Bledsoe-Kelly Plantation home you posted to his memorial and was hoping you would also post it to the "Oden Family Cemetery" listed in Talladega County. His father, Alexander Oden Jr., is buried there and I have submitted a familial edit request to link their memorials. The Oden Family Cemetery, sadly, was said to have been destroyed in the Upchurch county cemetery compilation published in 1989, but they did quote tombstone names & transcriptions from Carolyn Lane Luttrell's field work there during the 1945-'55 period.

I'm going to try and find her for you. Her husband is in L242 so I will look there. She, however, is not listed in the burial log. Are you sure she is there?
