RE: Lois Colton Hyde
I have found over the years that a lot of people don't go by their real first name. Lois could be the short term of Louisa. Me personlly go by my middle name instead of my first name because I don't like my first name.

RE: Lois Colton Hyde
Hi,
The Louisa Hyde that I have found is the only one in the newspaper around that date. I'm going to Fort Atkinson tomorrow and I will check the location that is listed on her memorial and if there's a gravestone, I will take a picture of it and also will check the cemetery records and see who is listed at that location.

Hi Judy,
I will see what I can find on Lois for you. Just to let you know, I did find a death anouncement on your John J Colton. I didn't find an obit. the death anouncement only states his name, age, date and place of death. I will post it onto his page tonight.
I have to research Rhoda to find her full death date for me to find out if there is an obit on her. I noticed that back in the 1870's they don't lists obits unless the person is very rich or atleast famous with the locals.
I'm meeting with the guy who runs Evergreen Cemetery on Wednesday so I will have him check on Rhoda and Lois to see if there's any more information on them. I will get back to you Wednesday night to let you know what I have found out.

Hi Judy,
I will be going to the Jefferson County Archives in Fort Atkinson on Wednesday so I will check there and also at the library in the micro films for them too. If I find anything on them, I will post it on their memorials Wednesday some time after 8 p.m.
If you come up with other names who are buried there, let me know and I will check on them too for you.

RE: George Hyde
Thankyou...
I'm trying to find obits, death anouncements and marriage anouncements from the local newspaper for as many as possible who are buried in the Evergreen Cemetery. There are some who aren't in Evergreen that I do find, but I do post them too.
