Incorrect Photo
I just wanted to send you a quick note to point out that you have incorrectly placed a photo on one of the memorials I manage. You placed a grave photo on the listing of George Cooper Jr. in Indiantown Cemetery that is actually of his father's tombstone, George Cooper Sr.

I can't remove it, and I would appreciate it if you would be kind enough to do so. There are several other photos of the correct tombstone for George Jr. already, so the incorrect photo is unnecessary and unfortunately confusing for those looking at the listing.

Thanks for your help!
Have a good evening!

Karen created and maintains the memorial, you might contact her about adding info. I'm happy that I was able to help you.

You are very welcome...sorry it took a while to get the picture for you...we have had severe thunder storms nearly every day. If you need any more info let me know and I will be glad to help.

If you are talking about the two Powells...they were posted on wrong site. Was that the markers you were asking about?
I have removed them. Sorry but thanks for letting me know.

RE: Frances LYNCH McCutcheon
No, I don't know anything about the Lynch family. The church is beside Hwy 378 on my way to the beach (where my in-laws live). I stop at cemeteries along the way sometimes and take pictures.

RE: Elmore Cemetery
GPS shows it out on New Hope Road, but you actually get to it off of John Lee Road. I only wish I could find some more old sites like that, I might find something I need for my family. For an off the road site like this, someone obviously is maintaining it.

RE: Elmore Cemetery
No on Ben Gause in Loris (different line), however there is a Benjamin Gause in a Gause Cemetery not too far from the Elmore Cemetery - search on Gause here...

Do you have any info on Jacob Elmore (1826-1906, buried Lebanon Methodist Church Cemetery), possibly kin to Francis. Jacob married Mary Louisa McAllister/Gause, one of my grandmothers.

RE: Elmore Cemetery
After you turn off Hwy 52 onto W New Hope Rd, drive just over a mile and turn right onto Johhny Lee Rd, go about 500' and turn left onto a farm road that goes by a small house on right. Cemetery is about 1000' back in the woods. There are no signs. Suggest look at Google Maps in satelitte view, you will see cemetery in a clearing surrounded by woods.

Would you happen to have a copy of the death certificate? I'd be interested in seeing it! To my knowledge, George was the sixth of nine children born to William Capers and Martha Gregg.
