Bio and Links
Bio Photo My name is Tamara Mattison and as far as I can tell I am the only person researching my husband's direct line. His Line includes the following surnames: Mattison, Groff, Morris, Tinkle, Thompson, Packard, Rutter, Patton, Long, Davis, and Casaday. There are more but these are the basic ones.
His mother's Tree consists of the following surnames: Groff, Judd, Lucas, Ragsdale, Thompson, Triebert, Pratt, and Clark.

I really enjoy doing genealogy. My mother and Grandmother started me on it.

I lived close to Woodland Memorial Park in Sand Springs, OK so if you are looking for someone there then let me know and I will see what I can find.

Please feel free to contact me via this website if you think that we are looking for common information.

Tamara Mattison

Ann Herring
Ann Williams Herring daughter of John and Ann (Ballard) Humphreys Williams. Born 11/3/1836 Woodington Planation, Lenoir, NC. Married Stephen Herring about 1854 and had one child Ella W (Herring) Duckett. Died 3/8/1865 from typhoid fever. Damn Yankees threw her out of the house to die in the road. She was taken in by neighbors, but died anyway.

Madison Sherman Garringer
Dear tsmattison, Thank you for the additions and correction. I actually have very little information on Madison Sherman. I did have a wife for him by the name of Emma and a daughter by the name of Norma. Norma was born c 1902 in MO, probably Putnam County. Since I did not record the source for the death date that I had on the memorial, I changed it to what you have.

RE: Dewitt & Comfort Hanks
Thank You for the transfers of the Hanks family. Yes Catharine 1812-1870 was married to Warren in 1856.

Lloyd Williams
Hi Tamara--I was reading your web page, and saw Terrie Williams as a friend of yours. I was wondering if she is still working on the Williams family. We were in contact a few years ago, because we shared some of the same relatives. I have sent a email to her e-mail address a few months ago,but never heard back was just wondering if she's ok.
