Bio and Links
I have been doing genealogy research for over 25 years. I am a member of Daughters of the American Revolution with 20 Patriots. I have held many offices with DAR including State Registrar and State Volunteer Genealogists Chair. I have received the Outstanding Volunteer Genealogist for the South Central Region twice and Outstanding Volunteer Genealogist for Oklahoma three times. I give programs, especially on my obsession of genealogy, throughout the state. I work with people in several states who are trying to join DAR or SAR & have over 70 member-for-member credits (many more that I have not claimed) for DAR. I have established over 30 new ancestors or children of ancestors.
Both my college majors were research based and my masters is in educational leadership. Since I enjoy mysteries and puzzles genealogy is a perfect fit for me.

RE: Hancock's at Mexia
My Tennessee relatives mostly settled in Warren County. These were the Joneses and Markums. As far as I know I am not related to anyone named Hancock and I have not run across any in the research I have done.
Sorry I could not have been more help.

Ellie Ritchie
It took me some time to discern who Ellie Ritchie was. Ellen Florence Phillips Ritchie is more than likely who you are searching. If you look closely at her page, Donald Paden was the submitter of the photograph. I do not live in that area and cannot assist you in your request.

RE: John Pollard Marker Pix
Thank you for thanking me! I am sorry the photo couldn't be better. Some of the markers at Highland Prairie are in pretty bad shape.
