RE: Jecova E Penrod Kell Sidney J. Vance married Justice Jess Penrod (born May 1855 and died in 1900) in 1884. She was born June 1867 and died 25 Sept 1922 Kanawha West Virginia. Jess and Sidney had Mary born Aug. 1885 – she married James Horton Rupe (1875-1937) in 1902, Jacova born Jul 1887 in KE and died 15 May 1925 in WV (She married James F. Campbell, they divorced and she married a Mr. A. B. Kell who was also divorced). James and Jecova had one child Nellie Campbell born in 1905. She married at the age of 15 to Grant Humphry. In 1920, Cova was living with them and she is indicated as being divorced. Gecova died of cancer of cervix and is buried at Spring Hill Cemetery in WV. In 1929, Andrew B. Kell remarried for a third time to Minnie Thompson Lynch.
