My father was born in Stokes County, NC, and my mother and all their children were born in Rockingham County. We moved to Forsyth County when we were all young and have remained here or nearby.
My husband was born in Yadkin County as was his father. His mother was from Patrick County, VA. and they, too, came to live in Forsyth County.
All these counties are in this area but we have relatives all over the country and Findagrave has helped so much in being able to link these families together.
