I'm retired and living in San Clemente, Ca. and have been trying to add all of my ancestors to or correct the ones that had incorrect memorials. My information comes from my brother Phil, who lives near Valparaiso, In. and has been working on our family tree since the early 80's.

RE: John Miller
Thanks. Sorry to be a pain but I am a stickler for accuracy.

RE: John Miller
You manage the page for John (1733-1826), do you not? Even if you did not link him as the son John Jacob in the Little Tulpehocken cemetery, you should be able to remove the link.

RE: John Miller
Since your source is speculation, and the cemetery record shows their son John buried in PA, it is my opinion the link to this one should be removed.

RE: Magdalena Miller #81832239

I have no problem posting the photos, just cite the source. I do the same thing for others with their photos.

thank you for your understanding...

Magdalena Miller #81832239
I know we've discussed this a couple of years back when the contributor "Debra Polly" stirred up all of that drama regarding the Miller Cemetery, but once again, I would advise you or anyone else not to use my photos and re-post them to other memorials. I'm referring to the photo of the bronze plaque on Magdalena's memorial that I took. If you are going to use someone else's photo, at least have the courtesy to cite your source. You and I had this discussion once already.

Mast - European Anabaptists
Mr. Miller, thanks to you for all of your work to be able to see tombstones.

As a Mast and Beyeler/Beiler/Byler researcher, you may want to know that Jacob Mast, emigrant of 1737, uncle of Bishop Jacob Mast, emigrant of 1750, were Anabaptists living near Wahlern and Rüschegg, Switzerland. I have been fortunate to have seen the former dwelling in Switzerland of Jacob Mast, 1737. These Masts were fugitives from Canton Bern to the Alsace of France/Germany at the time in about 1710-1715 for uncle Jacob Mast, and his brother Johannes (John) Mast who brought the 4 orphans with him. Yes, some had been baptised in the Swiss Reformed Church (I have records of some of these from the churchbooks of 1577 to 1850), but this does not take away the fact that they were Anabaptists after their baptisms. Sometimes they were even called half-anabaptists for their own protection. Best to you.

Barbary Mauzy Miller, Miller-Halstead Cemetery
Hello Ernie,
Can you give me the sources of Barbary's birth and death dates and places? I had researched her line years ago with lots of effort and never could find it.

Thank you,

Millers of Boone County, WV
Thank you for the lead on Colonel John Miller. I will check that source. The following is a book written about the Miller genealogy which you and your family may find interesting. Thanks again for your help.

RE: Millers of Monroe Co. WV
Thank you. I just sent the same list to you, but Find A Grave was reviewing the message because "it was so long" that I don't know if you received it or not. I added everything I found, but your list confirms John Miller's identity. Thank you so much, and if you or your brother ever need any photos, etc. down here in southern WV, please don't hesitate to let me know.
