Edward Kemp
Hello. I have a question. Was Edward Kemp married to Rachel Pearson or to her sister Mahulda Pearson or to BOTH of them. Ive seen info listing both RAchel & her sister Mahulda was married to Ed Kemp. Then I saw info that Mahulda married Edward KING. I know Rachel was suppose to be married to Ed Kemp, then when he died, she married Clarence Compton, according to a descendents of Rachels & that RAchel is buried with 2nd husb Clarence close to Evansville. Ive always heard the story abt Edward Kemp getting killed in a sawmill. I know Ed Kemp is buried in The Pearson family Cemetary & so is Mahulda Pearson. Can you clear this up for me? Thank you so much for your kindness. S. Wheatley/bluemoon2256@aol.com. Find A Grave member # 47724840.

RE: Grave photo
You are welcome. We were able to get to Clark County over the holidays. We took the opportunity to photograph the cemetery. I have a few more to upload. Please look over any of the memorials in Wesley Chapel and send me any corrections you see. I'm trying to get them all updated as much as possible.

Hello Mark,

I have Genrty in my database as a descendant of Johnson Adams. I do believe most of the old surnames in Blount/Sevier Counties are kin. Since the 1940 census came out it has added a trementous amount of information pushing my database well over 30,000. Findagrave is a wonderful resource.

Happy hunting.
