RE: Dennis & Patience Chandler
Hello again
I've been to have a look at the Elmswell cemetery.
The oldest grave I could find there was 1900.

so I should think the 3 people you're after will definitely be buried in the church yard and not in the cemetery just down the road.

Just as a side note there is an unusual grave in the church yard with the names of 3 Jackson men (I don't recall their names or year of death - I didn't make a note as it wasn't William Jackson that you're after).
The grave is unusual as its flat on the ground approx 7'x2' and has an arched iron cage over the top of it approx 2' high.

If you are interested I can go and photograph it and note all the details - let me know.

Sorry I couldn't find the information you're after.

RE: Wm Jackson photo
I dont have anything other but the info on the marker, it looks like 1821 but if you have other proof then I would agree on weathering. The incription as I read it,
'Sacred to the memory of WILLIAM JACKSON Gent late of Gosling Hall Debenham who departed this life the 10th June 182? aged 77 years'

RE: Lillian Jackson
Well, like I said I was able to make out the death year being 1905 So I'll load the picture of the stone. This must be it, it fits the first date you had and it was in the Jackson section. It can be deleted if research finds something different.

William Jackson - Memorial #104546087 ,
Regarding any other Jackson's besides - William Jackson, b. 1777 d.1835. I haven't researched the Jackson's, but I do see a William H. Jackson age 33 yrs, and 14 days buried at Shupp's whom died on -1-6-1890, in which I created a memorial for Memorial # 118804460

Lillian Jackson
Hi Richard,

Was Lillian Jackson a child? There was a child's tombstone in the Jackson section of Belwood Cemetery. I could only read the year 1905 but could not read a name. I have a picture of the stone but wanted to make sure.
