Heberling in Sunset Hill Cemetery
Hi Julie,

Thanks for the information. The graves in question are associated with the Jacob Heberling family but may actually go with the next lot instead. It can to hard to tell where borders of family plots are sometimes. I hope next summer to be out with a map and the cemetery records to determine names on many nearly illegible stones and give a surname to stones that only have given names and no nearby family stone. Older cemeteries do present a challenge but at least this one has extensive, but not comprehensive, records to work from. I will leave these memorials under the current surname name until I can find other information.

Heberling in Sunset Hill Cemetery
Hi Julie,

This may be a longshot but I wanted to check with you about a marker near a Heberling plot (Lot 181) in Sunset Hill Cemetery, Warrensburg that you photographed. There is a marker with just the names Flavius and Melvin on it that I now have associated with the Heberling family tombstone in Find A Grave. The cemetery records do not have anyone with either of these given names listed under Heberling and in doing a global search for these uncommon names there are no records of anyone with these names close to Lot 181. Do you have any information about these two?

It is temping to link them to an infant buried 7 Apr 1890 but this burial was in a different Heberling plot, Lot 57, Space 6 next to Irene. Any idea the given name of this infant? Do you happen to know if all the Heberlings in this cemetery are related?

Thanks, Jay Raveill

RE: John Norvell photo request
Hello Julie,
First let me apologize for taking so long to reply. I do appreciate your efforts in trying to locate the stone for John Norvell who is a distant relative of mine. I haven't had much time to research this family line so I'm not sure who "W.W.S" might be. I'm also not sure what other Norvells would be in the area or if they have memorials on Find A Grave. If you let me know the names, I can check it out. Again, thank you very much for your time and effort.

RE: William Norris Grave
I appreciate it, but would probably be more trouble for you than it is worth. These are not CLOSE relatives, i.e. grandfathers, etc. They are on and "preserved"...thanks to you...and that's the important thing.

I do appreciate everything you've done!!!
