Bio and Links
Bio Photo While researching my own family's genealogy for over 30 years I have enjoyed helping others with their family history. Documenting and remembering our past generations is a passion for me. Finding who our ancestors were, how they lived and how they helped form our family and our country is a great feeling. Keeping our lineage updated for future generations is an important step in our family heritage. I agree to transfer all of my non family records for management. After all, we are here to help one another! :^))

Have a peaceful day

Fortin headstone
Just added a headstone photo for Doris and Donna Forton at Lakeside, Muskegon, MI. Not sure how Richard fits in, that's up to you?

Due to age or weather conditions, perhaps the 112 year old stone was destroyed. I do not know. Would you be able to take a puicture of the general area of the grave and post it to the Memorial? Perhaps you could do that picture when you are in that cemetary again. Posting such a picture as that will help to eliminate further requests for pictures of the graveswtone. I requested the person who manages the Memorial to make a note of the lack of stone on the Memorial. That will help also. Thank you, again, for your efforts.

Photo Request
Thank you for taking the time to look for the headstone of Carrie Rainey. I wondered if there would be one and apparently there isn't. I believe the Benjamin might have all ready been in the Grand Rapids Veterans Home/Hospital at the time of her death, he only lived a few days after her death.

Once again thank you for your time and help with this.

John Timmer
Hi Cindy, Thanks for the information. I am slowly going throught the cemetery taking photo's, but it takes a long time as I have to dig out a lot of the head stones as some are partially or completely buried under grass. I have only about 4 or 5 more rows to do though. Have not seen stone for John Timmer yet. By the way I see your email is dancingallery, is your husband Dana Schrieber? He had a gift & photo store with the same name. I worked with him at Howmet, we were both custodians together. Tell him I said Hi and that I'm really enjoying my retirement.

Thanks for the Transfers!
Cindy,
Thanks so much for all of your work photographing graves and putting up memorials. And of course, for the maintenance transfers.
This teamwork approach -one person locates the graves and and creates memorials, and another adds details, photos, and bio, and both get credit- is the BEST!

Cindy - thank you kindly for the photo. I never received a notification that the request had been fulfilled, so this is late in coming. I just happened to check the memorial today and found the photo.
