RE: Rufe Scott memorial According to his memorial, his burial place is unknown. Do you know where in Gonzales County he is? Could you pinpoint it on a map? If so, please contact the person who created his memorial and share that information with them. I will be happy to create the link when the memorial has been updated. "Somewhere in Gonzales County" just isn't specific enough to allow someone to Find his Grave.
From the Find A Grave guidelines: "Find a Grave's mission is to find, record and present final disposition information from around the world as a virtual cemetery experience." The contributor should not have created the memorial. Find A Grave isn't a genealogy site for linking all known members of a family together. It's a place where people can come to FIND a GRAVE. So creating memorials that don't accomplish that goal really kind of defeats the purpose of the site.
