Bio Photo I have been doing my family history for years and when I found Find a Grave and started volunteering as a photo "Graver" I found a hobby that I fell in love with.
I have been researching how the Irish family and Jennings family came to North Dakota but will gladly help others in their search for their relatives in Stutsman County

Thank You
Duane - It is most kind of you to enter such nice headstone photos into the memorials for Frank, Hilda and Russell McMillan. Your assistance is appreciated. Best Regards - Doug Sorensen

Duane, You always do such a great job of getting good photos of these headstones and getting them loaded to the site. It means so much to be able to see the headstones. It is greatly apprecitated! Take care, Connie Carroll

Duane thank you for copying the image to the Find a Grave site. It was helpful and by seeing it I see the death year needed to be changed! You have helped me a few times. Thanks again for your hard work to help people out who live so far away :) !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

RE: Hausauer
I have his birth year as 1888 and also 1889 in his own handwriting. I usually add in the fact that most of these folks were not highly educated and take these things + or - a year or so..... but 10 years seems a bit much. Also did they need to fudge their years for some reason?

His WWI draft card says 1888 but his Union Pacific Railway application says 1889.

No rush for this info, but thank you.

RE: Hausauer
I do think this is the right marker. But I wonder could the year be wrong? I don't expect you would know this, but have you ever come across an incorrect year on a marker?

My grandfather was born April 1, 1888. I have lots of documentation that this is the correct year, but this marker says 1898.

Any Ideas about this?
thanks again
