Burnettes, Roselawn Burial Park
Denise - Thank you SO much for the pictures of the Burnette graves. This was my first time requesting photos, although I've filled many requests for others, and it was such a thrill to see the pictures. Thank you!

RE: Hello
The "grave" in McGraws is on the family farm and it's just his ashes buried under a tree on knoll. There is not headstone or marker to take a picture of. But thank you for offering. Hope you enjoy your trip!

RE: Thank you
Denise, I just wanted to let you know that I was recently contacted by a cousin through Ancestry.com and found out that Joseph Fleming, as well as George, Fleming, Jr. and his wife, Agnes, all donated their bodies to medical science. Joseph's family received his ashes 5 years after he passed away and they buried the ashes on the family farm in McGraws, WV. Waiting to hear back to find out about George & Agnes. But I guess it's safe to assume the will not be found at Palm Memorial Gardens. But I do thank you for finding and photographing Joseph's wife, Twila's marker though. And if you do make it back to Palm Memorial Gardens and can find and photograph Ruby, Willie and Lawrence Brown's grave markers, I would be forever grateful!

RE: Thank you
Whenever you make it back to Palm Memorial Gardens, could you also please see if you can locate the graves for Ruby Fleming Brown, her husband, Willie Dee Brown, and their son, Lawrence Brown? Those are the other photo requests I have for that cemetery. Ruby was Joseph's and my grandmother's sister. Thanks again.

RE: Thank you
I'm related to Twila on the Fleming side. Her husband, Joe, was my grandmother's brother. So, technically, she's my great-aunt. Did you happen to notice if there was a marker for Joseph Fleming next to Twila's? My grandmother had 2 brothers (both of whom have passed away) and one of them (I can't remember which) donated his body to science after he died. I don't know what happens to the remains after they're done. And I don't know where my other great-uncle, George Fleming, Jr., is buried or if he was the one who donated his body to science.
