My Mom, Aunt and Uncle have worked on my ancestory for a long time. I have taken it up and am trying to fill in the branches off the direct line like GG Grandparents sisters brothers cousins etc. I am looking for Courtney, Iaiser, Prather,Wymer, Schoonover, Talbert, Filkins, Hodges, Clark, Stufflebean. Willing to take pictures around Central Missouri. I have an odd work schedule so it may take a while. I have some Courtney pics I need to post from around Milan MO and will be going to Iowa when time permits for the Wymer, Schoonover, and Allen, graves.

RE: Hiram Schoonover
It has been said that Rootsweb is only a source not a reliable one at that. I have not found that to be so. Most of the information I see there agrees with what I have. I just take it with a grain of salt.
I am trying to contact Terry. If and when I hear from Terry, I will let you know what information I get.
Several sources that I have, give the information that Hiram is thought to be James Isaac Schoonover's brother but there is no actual proof unless Terry has it.
Will keep trying to reach Terry and let you know.
If you find any definite, please let me know.
Chris

Hirim Schoonover
I did not finish my message.
James Isaac Schoonover had a son named Nathan Martin Schoonover who had a dau named "Ella" Schoonover. She married Andrew Jackson Willis. Among their children was Pearl Willis who married Lincoln Frakes. Lincoln and Pearl had Gertrude Melvina and Udell. Udell died at age 4. Gertrude married Delbert O Stanturf and had 6 children. I am #4. Christina Elizabeth Stanturf. I am willing to share what information I have. I am looking for information that gives the ancestory of James and Hiram. I am also looking for any pictures if available.

RE: Hiram Schoonover
Hiram is suppose to be the brother of James Isaac Schoonover who was born ca 1800 in New York. I am not sure that they are that closely related but are connected somewhere. I have been unable to locate much on Hiram

RE: Prather Connection
You may have found most of your relatives. I just added more of the Prather's information on findagrave today. Check out Elder Jeremiah David Prather (#20918892) and his two wives, Belinda (Henry) Prather (#45570200) and Sally A. "Sarah" (Murphy) Prather (20918906). I have tried to connect them to as many of their descendents that I know about. I may have made a reference to the Canaday cemetery but I think you are interested in the cemetery at Yarrow. I may have been to it but it has been so long ago that I cannot say for sure. I will have to send you an e-mail. More in it, Marla Murphy.

RE: Prather Connection
I don't know where to start. I am still working on memorials on findagrave for the John and Kissiah (Murphy) Wood family. I started a virtual cemetery for this family and some of the Prather family is included in it. I just recently put a memorial for Andrew Lloyd Iaiser (#45477621), son of Andrew Phillip and Mary Bell (Steele), and his wife Elizabeth Evelyn (Prather) Iaiser (#45477548) on findagrave. I also have more about the Prathers (I have some info. for William A. Prather's parents and grandparents and William's wife Sarah Ann Courtney) and their connection to my husband's Murphy's on paper in notebooks but not all of it have I had time to put on findagrave. I have already promised another lady that I would send her stuff so need to get that done before anything else. If you could let me know exactly what you might want I will try to get to it sometime, I am just not sure how soon it will be. I cannot send anything out except through e-mails or the regular mail as my information is all in notebooks on paper and my printer isn't working at the moment either. It would help if you could send me what you have through the regular mail if possible and then I can see what else I can help you with. Let me know if that would be possible and I can send you my mailing address. Marla Murphy. P.S. I live in Adair County, Mo. and have been to the Canaday cemetery a few times.

GEORGE SHULTZ (my maternal 3rd great-grandfather)was married 2 times -- to ELIZABETH BOYD in 1826 & to SARAH LAWRENCE in 1873. His children with ELIZABETH = Anna Marie (Mary) Shultz (b. 1827 & d. 1863); Urius Shultz (b. 1829); Delilah Shultz (b. 1833 & d. 1914); Lavina Shultz (b. 1836); Leah Shultz (b. 1837); Barbara Shultz (b. 1840); Elizabeth Shultz (b. 1843) & George G. Shultz (b. 1844 & d. 1924). Good luck with your research. Verna L. Allen
