I was born in Tyler, TX to Dorothy and S.A. Lewis. I teach Spanish in a large East Texas high school, previously having worked in the private sector and was the vice president of a small chain of jewelry stores. I have lived in Tyler most of my life with the exception of college and a few years in Ft. Worth. I love to travel and have been fortunate to see a great deal of the world.
Please visit my daughter, Melissa Elaine Majors, 1980-2008, who died suddenly, peacefully in her sleep at 27 years of age and is buried in Cathedral of the Pines Cemetery here in Tyler. She had a smile that would light up a room, and she gave the best hugs imaginable. She had the biggest heart of kindness to everyone, helped provide sweet care to her grandparents, and lived her whole life in a spirit of love.
My son, Chuck, who is just as sweet as his sister, lives just outside Tyler, so we get to visit often and take vacations together.If you have time, also visit my precious dad who just passed away 9-24-2010. He was the sweetest man, well-loved, and will be missed very, very much!My only sibling and my best friend, my sister Pat died March 22, 2011 after a bravely fought battle with cancer, and I would love it if you could leave a flower for her, too. Sisters are a lifetime treasure, and there will be such a void without her in my life. This August, 2012, my sweet mother joined them in Heaven. I would love it if you could leave her flowers, too. | |
