I attended Tech High School where Darrell attended and graduated in 1956. I think he graduated in 1953. He sang at the High School in 1954 and '55. I've also attended church, Loving Ave. Baptist, where his Dad [Artie Glenn] wrote the song "Crying in the Chapel." I live in Ft. Worth and have retired from Southwestern Bell Telephone.
