RE: Farrell family
That would have been fantastic if there was a match. How long have you been searching for family ancestry? I have been doing research off and on for about two years, longer actually but not with much success. Thomas was my great grandfather and I am stuck to go any further. I had some stories about him but so far some have not been true according to known facts.

RE: Farrell family
Very interesting, but Thomas E Farrell, my great-grandfather, lived in Mifflin County, PA in 1880 according to the 1880 census. He was a steelworker.

I really wish that it was a match. I was excited reading your note until you say he lived in NYC in 1880.

I noticed you placed flowers at the Miller B, Farrell Find A Grave site. Are you related? I am. I am just beginning to search family history. Being curious.

RE: His mother.
Hi Joyce,
Who are you referring to?

Adeline Valentine
She is NOT buried in this cemetery. No one has been buried here since the early 1900's. Almost all gravesites are unmarked, and contain only Stafford family members.

Polly Johnson
Joyce, I searched the Mallett Cemetery in Stratford, NY this morning and could not fine Polly Johnson's headstone. On the website Fulton Co., NY Cemeteries a volunteer, in 1999, listed a stone that read POLLYS and the rest was unreadable. I couldn't find anything. I believe that was your "Polly". If I do further research in that area I will check again. I'm sorry. Katherine
