RE: Alice White
There was a photo of her and I try not to use them. Since Ancestry has bought out Find A Grave, I try not to bend the rules. Have you heard if Patti has budged any? Patti has only ever thought of herself when her parents were in the picture. So someone who upped her mother was more than her already fragile self could take.

RE: Newton Camden
His mother was Summa Newton. He was born in Senaca, OH. Do you mind adding the photo to his Find A Grave memorial?

Claeys
I also note you have a lot of Claeys in your tree... We have quite a few around here (in St. Joe Mishawaka and elsewhere).

RE: Your mom's grave
Hi Carolyn:

If you want to transfer it to me you can. But I am not real computer savy. I would love to get Dad on there as well, but not sure how to start. Thanks again for doing this. Mom's is great.

RE: McDermott
Hi Carolyn, A few years back I bought a Civil War era New Testament on ebay. It is the type that was given to soldiers before they went to battle.
It had some identifying information that makes me believe it belonged to Darwin's grandfather. It indicated that Charley McDermott married Mary in 1876. I believe it was really 1875 but the script was rather childlike. They is a small clip about a young girl who drowned in Seville, Ohio.

I have been very successful in finding the homes of about a dozen other Bibles. I am hopeful someone in the McDermott family would purchase it for my cost of fifty dollars. If not I understand.
sincerely,
Brenda Hutcheson Smith
