Bio and Links
Bio Photo Since 2005 I have been working to put together the giant puzzle of my husband's and my ancestors. It is so helpful to find information at Find A Grave to substantiate or add to my research. I hope what I add will be helpful to others and maybe we can collaborate!

RE: Herbert, Alice Ham + Marian Ham Kirchoff
Hi DiAnn,
I'm glad these were family members. I'ts always nice to connect an obituary with a family member.
Good luck with getting rid of the duplicates - I know that can be a tricky process. I'm glad you were aware of it already.
Regards,
Nancy

# 104325313 Alice Ham
Hi DiAnn,
I found a duplicate memorial for Alice Ham on Find A Grave when I was adding Betty Bradshaw to your memorial.
It is #111682440 created by Michael Young. I have only added updates to your memorial. It would be good if you could work together to delete one of these. Your memorial is a Global memorial (burial unknown) type. He has the actual place of burial with photos. Burial location for both Alice & Herbert is:
Coeur d'Alene Memorial Gardens
Coeur d'Alene
Kootenai County
Idaho, USA
Best regards,
Nancy

Hi DiAnn,
I found Henry & Marian Kirchoff's obituaries in my grandmother's scrapbook. She saved obituaries of people she knew from the Kenmare/Tolley/Minot area. I'm not sure why she had this one, but she must have had a connection with them. This couple died on the same day. I'll send it to you on the SUGGEST ANY OTHER CORRECTION OR ADDITION link. It would be nice if you could add it to their memorials.
Best regards,
Nancy - contributor #47321269

RE: 84906822
Thanks for adding the info I gave you. I have a screen print of her birth record from the Norwegian Church book that shows her baptism. I also have a screen print of her emigration out of Norway that I found after I sent you my edit suggestion. She was not married when she left Norway as it is listed as Miss Gjertrud... So she indeed married Ole Knudson Brunberg after getting to Wisconsin. Perhaps we should change the one sentence in her bio to say she immigrated in 1881 and then married Ole Knudson Brunberg.

Ole is the son of Knut Hendrikson Fadnes (Brunberg) and Anna Bergesdatter Brunberg. Knut changed his name from Hendrikson Fadnes to Hendrikson Brunberg when he married Anna and moved to her farm. When they immigrated, they continued to use Brunberg as their surname, as did all but one of their six children. One reverted to the Fadnes surname. Ole was the youngest of the six. Note too that sometimes Brunberg was spelled Brunborg.

I have not found Knut and Anna's headstones, but do have a lead I'm following. I don't know where Gjertrud's husband Ole is buried either.

Thank you for transfer. I was at her husband's funeral but didn't take a photo of tombstone was obstructed by the proceeding. I will do it another time when I go there. The tombstone is very nice. There are many other family members surrounding their stone.
