|brooksindy||RE: Tilman Pursifull|
Will reply via your email this evening. I am researching the genealogy and have data on several of the Pursiful/Pursifull lines (even in my own family some of them spelled it with one L, the other with two L's. Yes, I would be interested in Tillman's obit. My grandfather's ledger book has some entries about Tillman's estate.

meant to ask you if you have traced the other Lundy children and know where they might be buried? I like to reference siblings' memorial if can't be linked to parents. thanks
Hello Dennis, nice of you to contact me and now I have even more mysteries unsolved for the Lundy family. My biggest one was Rhoda Ann ROSE Lundy and I'm still not finding any death record with burial location. Which children of Elisha and Ludema gives name Ratliff? Are they on familysearch.org? I think Rhoda left one Lundy brother and ran off with the other. Did you ever trace Anna Ely and know when she died and where buried perhaps? Do you know for sure he was first married to her? On my bio page for son David I noted that Elisha may have first been married to Anna Ely but I didn't have any proof. glad you contacted me...will put me back in search of Lundy's! thanks!

Death cert's are good for some info, not so good for other. That's why I was kinda "soft" in my recommendations. In the absence of other info you have to go with what you have, but with conflicting info a lot of judgment has to be used, and I have the DC but nothing else, usually.
Thanks for adding it to the mix.

We called the funeral home that has been in Charleston for decades. They said there is no official plat map for the cemetery. There is no office at the cemetery. The funeral home said that about 15 years ago a resident went through the cemetery and took photos of all the headstones. She then put a book together of the information (I was hoping for copies of the photos). There are many headstones in the cemetery that cannot be read and many people that don't have headstones. It is possible that one of these may be the situation for your relative.

I was not able to locate a headstone for Susannah Holland. I went through a book that was completed showing everyone buried at Oak Grove in Charleston. This person was not listed as having a headstone.
