Hi, Charles and Freda Louisa Wilder are on one side and Pearle, I guess their daughter, is on the other side. Looks like Pearle died abt. age 4. I though at first that Freda and Louisa were 2 different people. It's either Louisa Freda or the other way round. Will try to get better picture of Pearle's side when it isn't so freaking cold and windy. Here is the web site for The Jamaica Historical Society in which they will be putting up all cemeteries in the town, www.JHS.org or com. I also added a snowy picture of the cemetery to their page.
Hi, My friend went down to Jamaica today and took pictures of the obelisk for Charles and Freda Wilder which are on one side and Pearle, with an e on the other side. The other 2 sides are blank. He could not find any graves for Louisa or Pearle. There are no Plot #s and it was super cold but he looked all around. He went to the store and found out that the people that run the cemetery are in the middle of taking photos of all the graves and making a map and will be putting it up on a Web Site. There still are Wilders in town and one has a lot of info. I put up Charles' and if you want it up for Freda could you put in a request? I'll put the obelisk on for Pearle but he didn't get a close-up. Maybe we can get better photos in the Spring if it ever gets here. Still lots of snow!
If you enlarge the top photo on Charles' Memorial you can sort of see the writing.

Judy, thank you for transfering the memorial for Marjorie Wright. I've deleted my duplicate memorial, of course, and kept your original one. It was very gracious of you to transfer Marjorie's memorial to me.
When I saw your message, I was intrigued by your name, as my husband had a prominent (to me) ancestor named Judith Merrill. She and her husband William Samson were born in Essex Co., MA in the 1730's and moved to Cornwall, VT, where they died in the 1790's.
