|BjJ||Mary Lou Canham #29224832|
Would you please send me verification for her marriage to George Canham as his 2nd wife? His obit only mentions wife Rebekah, with whom he is buried. Mary Lou is in a completely different section of the cemetery, near John W & Letitia Canham, and Lyman and Arthur Canham. Lot was purchased by Mrs. Douglas Canham. For now, I am declining the link. Thanks.

Such an interesting story. I will work on making additions and corrections to the memorial as soon as I have time.
Thanks for sharing!

It appears as though you might be related to the Canham's, so I am transfering the memorials for William and John to your care because I've confused about some of the relationships.
According to death certificates, William was married to Mollie (informant was Pollie Couhaur) and John's mother was Mary Foster of Sangamon County, Illinois (informant was his father, William). I see you have a memorial for Mary Ellen "Mollie" Vaughan Canham which makes it possible that she was William's wife, Molly, and also John's mother, Mary. Though I can't understand the two maiden names (Foster or Vaughan) and the fact that your Mary/Mollie was born in Kentucky. Plus you show Mary/Mollie as married to John Louis Thomas Canham.
But you say William's wife and John's mother was Lenore Foster Canham, and you referenced her as Pollie in your email to me.
The Mollie vs Pollie thing has me baffled so I'll leave it to you to sort out as I am not related to these folks.

I deleted the link to the man that was shown to be his father on the Find-A-Grave site and went back and checked his obit. It said he was the son of the late Louis and Mary Canham and was also preceded in his death by a sister, Lela, and his wife, Grace McCarty. Survivors were two sons, William and John, and a sister, Laura Agnew.

Oh that is great Judy.....thanks for all the work you do. Maybe someday we can connect and share what we have found.

I can't remove this link. It was linked to George Fanning through Eunice's memorial. I don't have any control on Eunice's links. You might try contacting Eunice's Memorial contributors.
I will put a note in George's Bio.
Sorry...I can't do more.
