Thank you for your time & kindness. I was only 4 when my Great Grandfather died. Having a picture of the headstone makes me feel closer to him and the rest of my ancestors.
Wilbert could be in a poor section if they have one. I am surprised no plot nos. I have had people take pictures of where they are suppose to be if that makes sense. Then somehow, maybe a software program does it, but will put the name of deceased in where he is suppose to be. One lady did the lettering of the name in red letters. See Leasy at Rose City Cem in Portland and there is a bare spot where the deceased is.
At least it gave an idea of where they are.
I used to be in Portland where I was born then when I got to 6th grade my folks moved to mid Calif. I was just up in Portland last summer wish that I had more time but next time Amity is on my list for sure. I want to go to Buck Hollow Cem up by Willamina to see where my ggrandmother's second husband is buried bet no marker will need to go to funeral home in McMinville for directions. His name is Willard Perley Lewis I think related to Meriwether Lewis.

Thank you for taking the time and troubles of finding Wilbert. It is possible that their was a metal marker I see a lot of them and they are usually lost in time.
Appreciate your caring about this.
