I love doing geneology research. I have traced my own ancestry back to royalty. Some of my other passions are reading and writing. I am working on my own book as a matter of fact.|
If you see something that you would like me to change, just ask. I love hearing from other people. Some of my own ancestors surnames are Jass, Smith, Ridley, Wing, Phelps, Abbott, Loomis, Heinsohn, and Plummer.
If you see anything that needs to be changed just email or message me to let me know. If you could give me the numbers of the relation and how they need to be connected that would make things a lot easier.

Thank you so much for the information. Albert Jass was from the Schlochau area of West Prussia, near enough to the city of Schlochau that they could attend church there. This city is now the city of Człuchˇw in Poland. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cz%C5%82uch%C3%B3w In fact, the castle tower shown in the picture on this web page was part of the church that they attended. Here is a little of Albert's history. I can email you the full document if you're interested.
"Albert Jass Sr. was born on August 15, 1836 at Kalte Hof near Schlochau, Germany and had one brother named Fritz. Their parents were August and Karoline nee Bahr. Their grandfather was Martin Jass and the grandmother's name was not given.
At the age of eight years our father attended Christian parish school at Klausfelde and was confirmed at the age of fourteen years.
His father, August Jass, was overcome by heat while working in the barley field and contacted pneumonia of which he never did fully recover and passed away within two years in September, 1849 at the age of thirty-four years and that left the mother and the sons, Albert and Fritz, alone without a father and a provider -- Dad being thirteen years.
Then a year later the widowed mother remarried to Karl Schmidt."

Are you related to Carl Jass (41173734)? I am a descendant of Albert Jass, Sr. (80843993), who came to the USA from West Prussia in 1883. Do you know anything about where Carl lived in Germany? Jass is such an unusual name here, that I wonder if they were related.

|Wendy M.||Infant Son Loomis|
Boy, this does seem like a mystery. When I added that information to Find a Grave, I was taking it from a listing from the Barrington Library. I have since been going over my Barrington area cemetery listings to update them with as much information as I can find as well as post photos to the memorials I have added.
In the meantime, there definitely is an Infant Son Loomis buried at Barrington Cemetery Cemetery. Since I can't be positive he was the son of Wealthy Loomis, I have "unlinked" him with her.
Thank you for correcting my mistake. If you should any others, please don't hesitate to let me know.

Found 4 Way stones and so just added all 4 as they were in a row. Couldn't find Janet's husbands stone however.
The Riverside Cem in East Raymond, Maine has now been relisted as in East Raymond, Maine. Now to get that map removed. That map is for the Riverside Cem in Cape Elizabeth.

I see now someone has really messed up the cemeteries and I do not know how to fix it. I hope you know. The cemetery now listed as Riverside Cemetery in Cape Elizabeth with the Cape Elizabeth GPS & map is the Riverside cemetery located in East Raymond, Maine. I don't know who is doing this but it is a huge mess. I hope you know how to fix this.
|Janice Gower||GPS Riverside Cem Raymond|
Do you know who added the map for this cemetery? It is a map of Riverside Cemetery in Cape Elizabeth, not Raymond, Maine. There is a map for Riverside Cem Raymond but it is a duplicate with only 2 internments entered. I do not know how to sign up in the forum to correct this. I have tried but no luck.
