My pleasure
It's a beautiful morning & my pleasure to go out & take the photographs for you. I also found a number of other Harvey family members in the same area. I photographed them and just entered new records for all of them in the Pleasant View Cemetery. If you want management of anything turned over to you, I'm very happy to do so. Also, it appears William Harvey was married twice since Emeline Miller Harvey is also listed as his wife on the same family burial pillar as William, Arminda, James and Percilla.

Photo request question
On the photo requests for William and Arminda Harvey, would you know if they were buried in the Pleasant View Cemetery or in the Beaver Valley Lutheran Cemetery in Valley Springs, South Dakota? I live not far from there and to my knowledge those are the only two cemeteries in Valley Springs.

Even though the office gave me an exact location of her grave, I looked three separate times and have not located her grave. I am wondering if it is overgrown to the point of not being visible.

I plan to go back to Calvary to talk with them again and try to figure out why I cannot locate her marker. Hopefully I will be able to get you a photo.

Margaret McFarlin
Hi David:

Margaret was buried on June 8 in an unmarked grave in Section 52 of Calvary. It took a while to locate but she is located kitty-korner (to the southwest) of the grave for Matsan.

I took a photo of the actual grave, which has an unusual patch of grass on top, as well as a photo of the area within section 52.

Hope this helps.
