My husband, Morris Hudson, passed away in June 2009. He had been on the Owensburg Cemetery board for 20 years. He and I took care of the plot plan and he spent a lot of time helping to keep the cemetery clean. When Dale Fields asked Morris if he would take care of the plot plan, the plan was on a large drawing. I put the information from the drawing on a computer file. Morris walked the cemetery at least three time to update the the plot plan.|
It was because of Morris' interest in Owensburg Cemetery that I became involved in its care. Morris kept copies of obituaries of people buried at Owensburg and that is where I got the idea for a book about the people buried at Owensburg Cemetery. Morris was able to read the first rough draft of the book.

|Glenda Barry||Fountain Wagoner|
I went back and checked the transcript again and Fountain and his wife are listed there in the cemetery that I had. However their last name was spelled Wagoner and not Waggoner. But the dates were the same as the Fountain that is at Mt. Olive. So I don't know which one is right. I think I will add a note to my memorial, or do you think I should delete it? Maybe he was at Mt Pleasant and later moved to Mt Olive. Let me know what you think.

I don't have any more information on John Doane. However, I will put a not on his Find a Grave page stating that this is probably a memorial stone and not his actual burial spot. Thanks for the information. Eric

That's okay, I am no stranger to mix-ups! We are doing okay, I guess. My husband had some more tests last week and we're waiting to hear about surgery. I have faith that it will be okay. I hope that you and your family are doing well. I sure will be glad when the weather turns warmer. Take care and have a good week!

I added the info from the 1940 census. I could not find A Gladys Louden. Do you have any info on her ? I will add it if you send it to me.

Looks like Joseph Crone, the creator of Zella Spencer Memorial, who created it in 2010, got his information from somewhere. I will have to ask him about it. He had transferred several Spencer memorials to me, when I had asked about one, a family friend. I will send him your information, as I did not create the memorial I cannot delete it, but send it back to him. Thank you for letting me know.
