|I have been researching and compiling information on the Noykos and Young family for years. I have so much to add. This has been very hard, but rewarding work. I hope to help all my younger cousins to understand our ancestry.|

|C. J. Dixon||Vicky has passed|
Vicky L. (Noykos) Scott, 52, of Midland, went into the arms of Jesus after a short illness with cancer on Friday, Jan. 14, 2011, at her residence.
The daughter of the late Frank and Patricia (Young) Noykos was born Nov. 26, 1958, in Midland. Vicky was Miss Midland in 1968 and graduated as an honor student from Midland High School in 1977, where she was also a member of the marching band.
In 1985 she moved to Georgia and received her CDL with high scores. She worked as a truck driver for the Army Air Force Exchange Service in Stone Mountain, Ga. from 1990 to 2003.
Vicky married Andrew Sova and he predeceased her. She travelled extensively throughout the west and was an avid, dedicated member of the Era Correct Rendezvous of the 1928 Period. She lived off the land for many years. She loved her family, played the guitar, and was a fun loving adventurer who lived for her boxer dogs, Sheba and George.
Vicky is survived by her sister, Jackie Noykos; and brother, Scott Noykos both of Midland; and many family and friends.
In accordance to her wishes, cremation has taken place with a memorial service to be held in the spring. Memorials in Vicky's honor may be offered to Pardee Cancer Treatment Fund or MidMichigan Home Health Care (Hospice.) Funeral arrangements are by the Wilson MILLER Funeral Home where personal messages of support may be left for the family at www.wilson-miller.com

Can you add Glady's maiden name to her memorial as Sharp or is there a reason that you cannot?
Let me know if I have the wrong Gladys Amble, please. Michigan Mother
I'm related to this last name I think... Do u no any santmires or dove? Like Dora (dodge) santmire and Jim (james) santmire? Jw. I remember this name from when I was little and jus thought I'd ask? I'm sure my mom (jeanne [santmire] Lovejoy) knows but we didn't see much of her side growing up or even now

I have transferred David's memorial to you as you requested. Midland is my hometown, and I am sorry that he died there at such a young age. I'll be looking forward to how you update it.
