 | RE: Photo Olsen Portrait Photo: If you go to Mount Royal Cemetery's Find A Grave listing - search for Sceley and the first two results are Bowden, Catherine Ann and Denny, Julia Ann - each have a flower icon and a headstone icon beside their names, but only Catherine's memorial actually has a photo of a headstone. Julia's memorial has a photo of her not her headstone. Charles Albert Sceley has an icon of a portrait and when you look at the memorial it is a photo of him not a headstone. So when you add a photo and it is not a headstone you need to choose from the drop down menu where it says Type of Photo. You will see this where you 'browse' to find the photo you want to add. Right now there are 3116 memorials in the cemetery and I can bring up the list of Names with no grave photos - 859 right now, but if you have added a person/portrait photo to the headstone section that memorial will not come up in the list. Plot Location: When you entered the memorial for Charles Bernard Olsen you added Grave 2232-A, Section L, which is the plot location, and this is how I was able to find the headstone.
Hope this makes some sense.Added by Graceti on Jan 21, 2013 5:12 PM | | | Graceti
 | RE: National Field Of Honor Cemetery Are you saying you believe Ste-Anne-de-Bellevue Cemetery is the same place as the National Field of Honour? They are separate cemeteries. Maybe you are thinking of Lakeview Memorial Cemetery? To get to the Field of Honour you need to drive through Lakeview. On the satelite map view it looks like one large cemetery, but it is actually three - Lakeview, Field of Honour and Eternal Gardens - a Jewish cemetery. They all keep their own records. Lakeview will give you plot locations over the phone.
- there's lots of time to straighten it all out, we've got lots of snow cover right now.Added by Graceti on Jan 21, 2013 10:34 AM | | | Graceti

 | RE: Photo Olsen There is a list of interments on Mount Royal Cemetery's web site - it may be of help to you. (mountroyalcem.com - Genealogy quick link at bottom of page)
I see that you have other memorials in Mount Royal but many of them have portrait photos in the spot for headstones - so when I look at "Names with no grave photos" yours don't show up on the list - and it looks like most of your memorials have the plot locations.
One more thing - I also added a photo to your memorial for William Samuel Sceley - there's another name there too. I visited that cemetery in the summer - I don't know if you saw the photo.Added by Graceti on Jan 20, 2013 12:10 PM | | | Graceti
 | RE: Photo Olsen You're very welcome.
If you would like to make memorials for the other family on the stone, I will get another photo of the stone in the spring. I see it looks like it is a polished stone and it was very reflective. Maybe a less sunny day may result in a better shot.Added by Graceti on Jan 19, 2013 1:29 PM | | | Belva Harter Hall
