Bio and Links
Bio Photo I'm a amateur genealogist and student temporary living in the St. Louis, Mo area but I am from Texas and my roots are planted "Deep in the Heart of Texas". At the time being, the majority of my memorials are family members but I have started adding other unlisted graves at our family cemeteries. If you have any request let me know I don't mind helping people who need a photo or information on a headstone.

If you are related to any of the people I have listed please leave me a message.... I love talking to distant relatives of mine or of somebody I listed. I have photos of all the memorials I have listed so give me alittle time to resize them to meet the Findagrave requirements.

Do you have the information about how Burrell James Bailey ended up leaving Monroe County, Alabama and migrating out to Texas? There is some family lore on and I'd like to learn more. There is a son or nephew named Burrell James Bailey who stayed behind in Monroe County, Alabama and is buried there along with his wife. My mother is as a descendant of James Robert Bailey and Callie Dania Remley Bailey who lived in Monroe County, Alabama and then they migrated down to Florida.

maybe a connection? #21488451
Hello Keith Bailey,
My name is David Bailey, from here in Austin,Texas and very interested in memorial #21488451, Mary Bailey buried near Elgin, Texas.

My great-great grandfather John Calvin Bailey came to Texas in 1848 with seven children, the oldest of which was also named Mary and was born ~1831/32.

When the clan reaches Texas, John Calvin remarries and the children from the first wife disappear.

Do you have any more details regarding your Mary?

any thoughts or ideas are appreciated

Above memorial has son John Robert Young #82996605 listed as son. This morning, I ran into John R's GS at the Big Valley Cemetery and he said this CC Young was an incorrect one. In looking at the dates, can agree. Some one gave me this incorrect link. Just a FYI to let you know am deleting the link. I am also adding info to John R's memorial today in case that info is beneficial to you.

I am on the Board of the Big Valley Cemetery Association in addition to being a Find A Grave volunteer.

Thank you so much for getting a photo of my great-grandmother's headstone! I searched and searched for it one day and could not find it, but I do not live in the area so was never able to return. It is greatly appreciated!
