James and Sally Washburn
Dear Mr. Ferre: I have added picture obituaries on for James and Sally. If you would like to type the information into their biographies and let me know I will gladly remove the picture obituaries. Have a wonderful day.

RE: Etta May Tolley Scott
Dear Shir,

I believe the situation results from the enumeration rules for 1920. The date of enumeration was January 1, 1920.

Thus Etta is NOT living when the census records were completed in March but was listed probably because she was still living on January 1st.

Hope this makes sense.

Perhaps you will be able to find out the answers by a search for mortality issues in the 1920 census.

Please let me know if you find out anything interesting for our Scott families.

Thanks for contacting me.

RE: Verenus & Matilda Carter
Hi Shirl,

My relationship to Verenus and Matilda Carter is through their daughter Chilla. She was the first wife of my uncle, Ralph Thompson's father, Frederick Thompson. I have not researched Verenus & Matilda's children other than Chilla, so I cannot offer any documentation for Alma. However, my personal feeling is that if his burial record lists him as their child, then you should post his memorial and link him to his parents.

Best Wishes,
Lucia

RE: 82189093 & 82188398
I have done as you requested and place on the memorials that there is no headstone. I am sorry for your inconvenience, but there is no possible way I could have know there were no headstones for these memorials as I only created them and did not go out to photograph the headstones. Sorry again for your inconvenience.

Sincerely - Kathie

RE: Stella McGee Allen #12877964
Shirl,

Sorry but I don't know Stella or her family. I am not related and I don't know of any other that has contacted me or anyone else. I don't know which is correct as I mostly only add the obits from newspapers. I don't know of any one that could answer your questions other than the funeral home they used.
Hope this helps and good hunting.

I'm sorry to bother you further, but your response didn't answer any of my questions. Can you respond further? Are you related and if so, how? Has there been any contact with the other memorial's owner to see if one or the other duplicated memorial should be deleted? Is there someone close to you that can explain this "Allen" person mentioned in the obituary?
Please respond again. Shirl

I have looked at both memorials and yes they do look like the same person. I don't know but it looks like she had remarried?

I have noticed on memorial #12877964 that you list Stella McGee Tanner ALLEN and show her obituary. This is the same person as Stella McGee Tanner memorial #59164535. My question is: What is the tie to the ALLEN name? Was she remarried to someone named __ Allen? There was no indication in the obituary, no other references I can find show a second marriage. Please share with me any information you have about this ALLEN person, pictures, documents. My wife Carol McGee Ferre is a niece of Stella McGee Tanner. Please respond. Thank you, Shirl Ferre s3ferre@comcast.net
