|Rebecca Dunlap||Doy Dillon|
I was updating my Family History, and I was wondering if you would be willing to send me some larger copies of Doy's Pictures? Doy was married to my Aunt Charlotte and I would like to include him. I would really appreciate some larger versions of what you have on his Memorial, if I am not troubling you too much. My email is firstname.lastname@example.org.
|LUANNE BRONOW||SARAH JOHNSON RIST MURRAY|
Uniontown Cemetery where Sarah Murray is buried is located in FAYETTE County - not Indiana County as posted. Sarah is my 3rd Great Grandmother.
An update would be appreciated as others might be physically looking for her tombstone in the wrong place.

Wow. I can tell by your message to me that I really ticked you off today. That was never my intention. I changed Rose's last name in response to the request of another family member. You asked how I updated your memorial page for Roy Riste. I didn't and can't ever do so. If you click on Rose's name, it will lead you to her memorial page. I did add a 2nd husband. Find A Grave must have an automatic update that changed her name on Roy's memorial page. Rose never had a maiden name listed on her memorial page. I did add it to her memorial page today though. I have a copy of her marriage certificate to her 2nd husband. Would you like a copy? You can find it on line, or just send me your home e-mail address and I will send it to you. How wonderful that Rose has so many people looking out for her. This extraordinary woman will not be forgotten. Do you happen to have a picture of her? If you do, can you please add it to her memorial page? Thanks. Leilani
Hi. Just wanted to let you know I have your photo request for Thomas Sharp on my radar. I did not "claim" it because it will be much longer than 2 wks. before I can look for it. This cemetery is here in the community I've lived in all my life, as well as many generations of my family before me. I know the land owners and where it is. The land around it is very overgrown, so I prefer to wait until later in the winter when there are no ticks (or snakes, lol) around to see if I can find the grave you are looking for. In the last few years, there has been an effort to clean up and fence in these old cemeteries, but I am not sure if they have gotten to this one yet. As a side note, my husband's father was Thomas Sharp Nolen, born here in 1876 to Ichabod Nolen and Polly Maples. I'd love to know if you see those names pop up in your research. I have hit a wall and been unable to go past Ichabod and Polly. Thanks!

Hi. Hope all is well with you.
I did find information about the land Christian Garver bought in Maryland and have quoted it in his biography along with adding more information. I have also incorporated the information you sent me about your great-grandmother. Have you had a chance to look for the news article for which she was interviewed?
Thanks for helping with the biography. I have credited you as a source, and I hope you don't mind.

Do you have a copy of your great-grandmother's newspaper interview? I would like to see it and incorporate her remarks into the biography.

All that I know about the John Stoner land transaction is stated in the biography. Does the house still exist? I have found a Joseph Stoner farmhouse evidently west of Westminster that was built in the later 19th century, so it would be too late to have belonged to John Stoner in the 18th century.
Do you know more about the family that I could add to the Biography?
