I GREW UP IN ROOKS COUNTY,KANSAS. MY PARENTS WERE BETHYL(FRY)& E. K. BIGGE OF STOCKTON- THEY MOVED HOUSES. MY GRANDPARENTS AND GREAT-GRANDPARENTS AND GGGRANDPARENTS ALL EVENTUALLY SETTLED IN ROOKS COUNTY,KS.
I STARTED MY GENEALOGY FASCINATION AS A SOPHMORE IN HIGH SCHOOL WHEN WE HAD TO "DO" OUR FAMILY TREE FOR A SEMESTER GRADE. I WAS FORTUNATE WHEN I STARTED AS SEVERAL OF MY GREAT AUNTS AND UNCLES WERE STILL LIVING- SO THEY HELPED FUEL THE FLAMES THAT ARE STILL BURNING TODAY- THE THING I HAVE REALLY LEARNED IS THE MORE YOU LEARN THE MORE YOU WANT TO KNOW IN GENEALOGY.

OK, I've added a photo request for Memorial# 37820950 - wife of Max
If you don't still have that photo, then you could go to this link:
http://image1.findagrave.com/photos/2010/335/37820959_129134606610.jpg
and save the image you originally added, and then add it to Memorial# 37820950
Since you added the photo to begin with, I would rather have you do this, and not someone else, namely me!

I am a genealogist with these individuals in my tree, albeit not a direct line. I am assisting a fellow researcher who is direct relationship with the Fredde family. She's having difficulty locating information and is trying to recreate her late family's genealogical work that was lost in a flood in 1998. Any and all help would be most appreciated. I know how challenging, but fulfilling and heartfelt replacing lost family treasures can be. That's how my husband & I came to take up the hobby which has become a life passion... his father's life's work was carelessly "tossed" out after his death by an uncaring individual and we sought to replace it. We've been able to do that and extend it greatly through the assistance of others. This is my way to pay it forward.
