RE: Albert Giles Martin
THEY ARE ON THE SAME STONE (FRONT&BACK). IF YOU WANT A SEPARATE ENTRY PUT IN A FIND A GRAVE PHOTO REQUEST FOR ALBERT GILES MARTIN. WHEN THEY LIST IT I WILL RECEIVE A REQUEST. I WILL THEN CLAIM IT AND IF I CAN FIND THE PHOTO THAT I TOOK I WILL PLACE IT ON THE A.G MARTIN SITE. IF I CANNOT FIND MY PICTURE, I WILL GO TAKE A NEW ONE.

SINCERELY,
MILTON

Thanks for the information. I have added the Blacks to the cemetery. Hope someone will go out and get a photo.

You asked for a photo of his headstone in Ebenezer Cemetery. He already has a memorial and has photos in the IOOF cemetery which is across the road from Ebenezer.

Re;
"I noticed that you left a memorial for "Unknown Gray" in 2010. Are you related to this individual and/or do you have any information on this individual as this may be an ancestor?"

Tina Hammond

Were I certain as to the identity of this individual, wouldn't be "unknown". No change since my last response. I am not related. If you are, I'll transfer.

Christine,

I am trying to get more information on Dorothea and her mother Emeline. Dorothea is a first cousin I never met. And my daughter just named her new baby Emeline.

RE: Gray, William B & Nancy E
Hi Tina,
The information that I put on Nancy's memorial is taken directly from her headstone. The inscription on her stone reads as follows:

Nancy E.
Wife of
Wm. B. Gray
Born
Feb. 2, 1830
Died
Dec. 13, 1908

I can e-mail a copy of the headstone pics to you, and they could probably be enlarged a lot more on your computer. Let me know if you want me to do that. You are welcome to use my photos as you please. If you are related to William and Nancy, I'd be glad to transfer them to you. Again - let me know.

I added the marital information to both memorials, as you requested.

Best wishes,
Paul Hoyt

RE: Jane McElheran
I have Jane on an 1850 census with Daniel and her mother Sarah (Dist. 13, White County, Illinois). Also on the census is her sister Isabelle, Sarah Ann, Elizabeth, Margaret, and her brother John - so it is definely her; her birth date is listed as 1831.

Sarah died in 1853, per Find A Grave Memorial# 89507777 and Daniel then married Mary Martin in 1854 - per a marrialge license record I found. Daniel and Mary are then found on an 1860 census in Dist. 13, White County, Illinois - there are no children at home and Mary is much to old to have had any children in 1857 (she is listed as 57 on the census).
