|Working on your family tree, Find A Grave Is a great tool to use help find missing family and family you never knew you had. Linking graves together I think is one of the most important in finding your families from the past. That's why its on the edits tab. If you don't like to link then transfer if Requested.|

Not untypical of small towns, my wife and I walked the Gaylord Cemetery on Memorial Day. A car pulled up and an elderly couple asked, "who you looking for?" I told them Doris Bradford, and that I had just found their headstones. Then I was asked, "you relatives?" Then I was treated to a few Doris stories.

It is likely that this cemetery, that has more than these two burials, has a sub-division over it, but I plan to do more research and see what I can find. It may take a while, but I don't forget.

Hi you put in edits for William s Underwood and wife
Lucy. I have a copy of the Greenhill cemetery book and find no William S Underwood. Also I see two lucys Underwoods
131269859 and 12693622
one of them says wife of W. S. Underwood died 1851
The other doesnt say wife of W. S.?? so little confused
I have been in the cemetery so many times and have some knowledge of it. Also there is a lady who walked it only about 5 years ago.
I hesitate to put in this Wm and Lucy as parents and I was wondering if you can call the caretaker 217 728 8043 and ask if they have records ??
I will be glad to add what you want when we make sure that the correct people and that they are both there.
It was my pleasure.
