I've been working on my family's ancestry for a couple years now. This site is a great resource! I am glad to do my part to keep it growing. I do not reserve any rights to the pictures that I have posted of gravestones. Please feel free to use them.|

It's wonderful to know there is someone who cares enough to take time to share with all of us. I've heard from my father, before he died, that a baby in the Hinkle family died on a trip. I don't think they had a car at that time, but had a wagon. That baby was buried there, then other family members were buried later. Just thought you'd like to know.

Thanks for the pictures of graves of the Hinkles
in Dunwoody, GA. John Wendell Hinkle was my father. Are you related to the Hinkles?

I'm sorry .. I have no idea where the Zion cemetery is!!
Did you know that a Feister girl married a Russell Ashenfelter and they lived in Napoleon, both of whom are now deceased and that they had a son Jim, who is also deceased now for some time, Burial is unknown

I saw your query about Elizabeth, wife of John, and I did a search on ancestry.com. I learned that she died in Alamance County, NC. Find a Grave has her there as well--in Providence cemetery at Graham.
Here's a link to her page on Find a Grave:
could you please leave this name on your jma memorial 51805348 . James Mercius Adams At least some of his family may be able to look him up.

Thanks Josh! I got the pic. This looks like an incredible cemetery to walk around in and research. I have a lot of roots in that area. Maybe someday I will get to go see it! Thanks for all you do and have done!

Thanks Josh! I appreciate it! I have a question for you: In that same cemetery you have a memorial for Emanuel Carpenter born 1803 death date unknown. I believe this is also a relative of mine and was wondering if there is a way to obtain any info about that grave? I believe Emanuel never married, never had children and lived his whole live with his brother George and then nephew George. There wouldn't happen to be a George Carpenter in that cemetery would there?

I added a photo of Amanda Carpenter to the memorial you created. I have some additional info regarding Amanda if you would like to add it or transfer to me and I can add it. She would be my gr gr gr aunt.
