I was so glad to hear from you !! First I'd like to thank you for the bit of history for Anna, that is very sad. My heart goes out to her. I have added the short obit for her son Ray, but have not linked him to his Mother, and have not linked Anna to her parents, I thought you might like to do that. They have been transfered to you. If I missed one, or something, please let me know, or if there is anything else I can do. And, thank you again, I don't think I will forget about Anna. Such sadness. | Mary & John Grund/Franklin Cemetery/Ottawa co., Ks
Hi Julie,
I hope you don't mind me writting to you. I have been adding pictures to Franklin Cemetery the past several weeks. Trying to correct some mistakes that are on the list for the cemetery. I noticed you left flowers for your Gr.Gr.Gr. Grandparents, Mary and John Grund. I wanted you to know that I have added some pictures to their memorials. But also, there is a Ray Deringer, and a Anna Deringer. According to a 1900 Census Ray was staying with Mary and John Grund and it said he was a grandson. I have been trying to link him to Anna, just in case she was his Mother, but I have not found anything as of yet. I do have his obituary,( haven't added it yet ) but it does not mention his parents, only siblings. Margaret's sister Eliza is my gr-gr-grandmother. You must know Irene Wrenn, then. We've conversed every so often the last few years. The picture of her and Melissa Lohr on Margaret's page is from Irene. Melissa was married to John W. Lohr, Margaret and Eliza's brother. I have a sofa and two chairs that belonged to John & Melissa. What relation are you to Irene?
