Old Presbyterian Cem. (Schaghticoke)
Hi Linda,
Is the Old Presbyterian Cemetery (Schaghticoke) also referred to as Old Schaghticoke or Yates Cemetery? If so, would you know who would have the records on this cemetery and the number interred there? I am searching for an Amos Morse, 1763-1816.
I have information stating Amos was buried at Old Schaghticoke, just wondering if this cemetery is known by all three names. Any help would be appreciated, thank you. Nancy

Juliana's Surname
Hi Linda,

Everts is as good as anything I've got. I'll look into it.

I forgot to give you the source for the information I sent previously, so just in case you need it here' it is:
"Gravestone Inscriptions in Hartford, NY"
NEHGR, vol. 115
Sorry, I don't have the page number. I printed the pages years ago, and the numbers don't appear on the copy I've got.

Thanks for the help,

Janet Muff

Thanks so much for the "heads up"! I made the change and also did the family links wherever possible.

Hello again, Linda:

Thanks for the surname of Juliana, second wife of Timothy Allen, Jr., but I don't think it was Higby. The information on Juliana's tombstone inscription is as follows:

Allen, Juliana, widow of Timothy Allen (formerly wife of Amby Higby), d. April 21, 1852, age 83 years.

So, her first husband was Amby Higby, but that wasn't her maiden name. I guess we've got to keep looking.

RE: Anne Johnson Allen #42465049
Hello Linda,

Thanks for the correction. I'm so glad you found the error. And, by the way, there were two errors, both in the birth and death dates, so here are the correct ones:
Anne Johnson Allen
b. Dec. 2, 1792
d. Oct. 2, 1859

Amy (Chase) Bull
Ms Milks, Thank you so much for adding a photo of the gravestone of my 5th great grandmother, Amy Chase Bull. We are cousins by some number, given that my 6th great grandmother, Sarah Milk Chase, is your 5th great grandaunt. Amy's daughter, Peace Bull, married my 4th great grandfather John J Waldo, ergo my 9th great grandparents are Henry Adams and Edith Squire, making me 3rd cousin, seven times removed of our second president, John Adams. God Bless You.

Re: Mary Denton
Thanks for the "heads up". It was a typo and it's been fixed. Thank you so much for adding a photo to her memorial site. I live waaaaaay out of state and rarely get to visit so all additions are gratefully appreciated!
