Do you know who owns the cemetery? It is is a terrible state of disrepair with trees overgrowing the plots. Several trees have been blown down and may be compromising the gravesites. So many stones are fallen and broken. There is a tall monument whose top pieces are slipping off the midsection as the ground softens with the overgrowth. Patience Milk is in my lineage and buried there. I could not find her grave site earlier this month.

I wanted to ask if you could take another photo of Susan Hill's tombstone for me? I need to confirm the birth date on the stone to be sure this is for sure my 4th Great Grandmother. She is buried at Fern Hill Cemetery in Grays Harbor County.
I tried to pull up the image to determine the birth date, but I cannot see the year. I really appreciate your help.

|nmbo||Old Presbyterian Cem. (Schaghticoke)|
Is the Old Presbyterian Cemetery (Schaghticoke) also referred to as Old Schaghticoke or Yates Cemetery? If so, would you know who would have the records on this cemetery and the number interred there? I am searching for an Amos Morse, 1763-1816.
I have information stating Amos was buried at Old Schaghticoke, just wondering if this cemetery is known by all three names. Any help would be appreciated, thank you. Nancy

|Janet Muff||Juliana's Surname|
Everts is as good as anything I've got. I'll look into it.
I forgot to give you the source for the information I sent previously, so just in case you need it here' it is:
"Gravestone Inscriptions in Hartford, NY"
NEHGR, vol. 115
Sorry, I don't have the page number. I printed the pages years ago, and the numbers don't appear on the copy I've got.
Thanks for the help,

Thanks so much for the "heads up"! I made the change and also did the family links wherever possible.
Hello again, Linda:
Thanks for the surname of Juliana, second wife of Timothy Allen, Jr., but I don't think it was Higby. The information on Juliana's tombstone inscription is as follows:
Allen, Juliana, widow of Timothy Allen (formerly wife of Amby Higby), d. April 21, 1852, age 83 years.
So, her first husband was Amby Higby, but that wasn't her maiden name. I guess we've got to keep looking.

Thanks for the correction. I'm so glad you found the error. And, by the way, there were two errors, both in the birth and death dates, so here are the correct ones:
Anne Johnson Allen
b. Dec. 2, 1792
d. Oct. 2, 1859
