Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have been doing genealogy research for about 15 years and many generations of my ancestors settled and stayed in CT, NY, VA, KY, OH and PA. My most recent immigrant ancestors came to America in the 1850s, so I have been able to locate and identify 30 of my 32 3rd-great-grandparents (the other two being a Mr. (first name not known) and Mrs. (Agnes, maiden name unknown) Smith. Agnes, possibly then a widow or divorced, was living in Gratz, Owen Co KY in 1840 and 1850.

In early 2011, I discovered an old photo album that had belonged to my great-great-grandmother. It contains many unidentified photos, taken from about 1850 to 1874. I am seeking members of the following families, with the hope that they can help me identify some of these photos:

1. PLANT. Descendants of Harrison or Morgan Plant; lived Burr Oak, St. Joseph County, Michigan from mid-1800s. Also, any other descendants of their parents: Stephen and Melinda (Brown) Plant of Genesee Co., NY. I am almost sure that their photos are in this album, and I am seeking confirmation.

2. STEBBINS. Descendants of James Stebbins, a jeweler in Ashtabula, Ohio from about 1867. His son James Rowland Stebbins was an optometrist whose wife Ella died in 1957 at home of her daughter, Lola (Mrs. Ralph) Fox, in Shaker Heights OH. She was said in her obituary to be a grandmother and a great-grandmother.

3. TURNER. Descendants of Eber and Malitta (Wilmot) Turner of Litchfield CT; including daughters who married into MINOR and HOUGH families of Hartford and New Haven Counties.

4. TAYLOR, WILMOT, BELDING of Geauga County, Ohio.
Pioneer settler (1817) Abraham Wilmot had 3 children who married into the family of Childs and Althea (Beach) Taylor. A 4th child married Edmund C. Belding, a cousin to the Taylors. I am seeking help in identifying photos that might be of 1) Esther Wilmot, who married Elijah Taylor; and 2) Emily Wilmot, who married Edmund Belding.

Even unidentified photos, held by descendants or relatives of the above, could provide valuable clues. I would very much appreciate any and all help.

I am happy to grant permission for the use of my personally photographed tombstones. I ask only that you please credit me as the source (Aunt J = Judy Wilmot Davison), to facilitate contact with other possible distant relatives.

Hi I wanted to let you know that I just added a photo of the gravestone of Josiah & Esther Richardson Huse to your memorial in Medusa Cemetery in New York. I know there was no request for one but thought I would point out it's there in case you wanted to see it.

RE: Hughes & Tyler connections
This has been a very chaotic year ... so far. Did I ever get back to you? I meant to. If not, please accept my apology. I will be getting back to genealogy come cold weather.

Louis Jay Ford
Hi, My Aunt Maude was married to Louis Jay Ford. Interesting situation, I don't think the Ford family cared much for my Aunt. I have a copy of his death certificate and someone else is listed as his wife. Was wondering if you had any info that could shed some light on this situation.
Thanks!
