Member of the DAR and SGS holding degrees in History & Education. I am working on the women in my family as my main focus. There seems to be no end to searching for the family ties.
I have been working on the family history for over thirty years, following in my Great Uncles footsteps. My roots have lead me to Connecticut, Maryland, Overton Co. TN, Jefferson Co. Kentucky and Norway. I'm a nice blend of the New and the Old.
Andrew W Anderson Memorial# 139499960 is for an Andrew Anderson who died in October 1954 in Hennepin County. And the obituary states he was born in Princeton. The edits you requested seem to apply to a different Andrew W. Anderson. perhaps it is Memorial# 281107 -- an Andrew Anderson who died on May 30, 1954. MN Death Index says there is an Andrew W Anderson who died May 30, 1954 in Kandiyohi County.
RE: Haman's Mary, Thank you for the message... Are you related to the Hamans? I have been researching quite a bit and have alot of pictures. In researching I did find that the spelling may have changed with Frederick Haman... I have found a few variations. I have alot of information on Ancestry.com along with a face book page for Haman Family Reunion.
RE: Martin Family I have reason to believe that my baby brother's adopted mother (Mary E Johnson/Sands)is the connection that we are looking for! She was born 1910, so therefore she is 3 generations from Our Mary E Martin/Johnson.
I put a call into the office of the Union Cemetery in Virginia who has listed John W Johnson b 1875 d 1949, and Mary E b 1878 d 1971. I am waiting for more information from the director.
RE: Elmer Thompson Sorry that I am unable to fulfill your photo request as the cemetery has no records of an Elmer Thompson that died in 1948, nor for an Elmer L Thomason as shown in your recent response. They do have a record of Sylvia Thompson that died in 1948, but unfortunately has no grave marker. Good luck in your search.
RE: Elmer Thompson Claquato has no record of an Elmer Thompson that died in 1948. The only Elmer Thompson they have was a baby who died in 1924, but has no marker. They do have a Sylvia Thompson 1948. The usgwarchives lists an Elmer (Sylvia) Thompson that died in 1948 and is interred in Memories. Could this possibly be the person you are requesting the photo for?
